My name is Stephen Clarke
I first came to Nantucket in the summer of 2017 and began working with Russell Simpson as a construction laborer. Over the course of two years, I dedicated myself to learning the craft and mastering the skills needed to excel in the trade. In 2019, when Simpson closed his roofing and siding company, I joined Above the Ridge, where I worked for five months before deciding to take the leap and start my own business.
After my first year in business, I continued to expand, hiring additional skilled workers to keep up with the growing workload. Contractors like King of Shing, specifically - Wong and homeowners began to reach out to me, I brought on two more permanent employees to meet the demand. Today, I’m proud to say that SC Roofing & Siding Inc. has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and craftsmanship.
For me, roofing and siding is not just a job—a true art form that I learned to love and take pride in. It’s something I’ve poured my heart and soul into, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share that passion with every customer we serve.
